Your future is within

Your future is within.

Wow what a year 2020 has been so far but in truth it's just a phase in the life we all live.

We live in time broken down into day's, week's, month's, year's "phases" if you will to help us deliver our potential for the world as a whole, no phase in life lasts for ever.

Year's provide space to deliver us from the past and move forward. Your past is dead but it can be dangerous if you keep feeding it.

Everyone makes mistakes, everyone falls and everyone fails at some time, no one is perfect.

Free yourself from the past but know this, your future is not ahead of you it's within you. You will not get your future from others but from the personal choices and values you bring forth from within to meet the vision you have for your life.

Your future is more important than your past, have a good attitude and don't be stupid.

If you get all your value from your business title you are in trouble as that company may not be around in the future, what then will you do?.

A novel idea

Here's a novel idea.

On Friday stop and take stock. Look at all you have to be grateful for, you may not have to look too far.

Take time out to celebrate goals you have smashed and be proud of yourself.

8.1 mile run as I continue my back injury recovery every step is a success.

Follow your dreams.

So i’m a story teller eh!

So I'm a story teller, should I apologise?

6.8 mile run in 1:06 in drizzly Dublin night continuing recovery on back injury.

In supporting your corporate wellness program I can tell the story of how I survived 7 armed robberies in a banking career, suffered mental exhaustion in 2010 working 84 hrs a week, how no one should fall into that trap and how you can survive and thrive in the future.

I put my pieces back in a different way, I run ultra marathons to raise funds for charity and I reach back and bring someone up by mentoring in business.

If you would like me to support your wellness program reach out to me through my website bjkennomotivation.com

Recommendation for BJ

Wow, I am honored to have such a recommendation to share from Ronan Ó Byrne Prof banker, thank you for the recognition as an operational manager, as I work towards finding a new opportunity in September when I leave UB and for my motivational speaking through bjkennomotivation I am truly humbled. Thank You.

"Brian and I both work for Ulster Bank, whilst we work in the same organisation we are in different areas. Brian & I are connected by our love of running and we run together regularly.

Brian is a very experienced Operations Manager & a go to guy for problem solving .He uses not only his many years of experience across different companies but his ability to deal with people in a positive and professional way.

In recent years Brian has both shined a light on campaigning for Good Mental Health in the workplace but also shone brightly himself when he shares his own personal journey of mental exhaustion from work. I have attended Brian’s wellness talk many times and have learned something new each time.

Brian is passionate, humble, honest and approachable and I believe every workplace should have a Brian Kennedy in the role of Mental Health Champion i.e. someone who has walked the walk & therefore can talk the talk".

Who do you say I am?

Who do you say I am?

A famous question asked of an infamous group of 12 long ago.

It's a question many people find themselves searching for the answer in their business life - what do you think of me? Am I worthy? Should I go for the promotion? , should I change career?.

Too many times the answer is accepted in a business review meeting that refers to the negative points in a period of time, areas for development that will do nothing to build self esteem or overall confidence for the future in general.

If you work with me through bjkennomotivation I can help you take time out to understand who you really are and define your values which will help you move forward in your business and personal life with clear goals.

It doesn't matter what people say about you or think about you, you row your own boat in this life which will be great if you are true to your values.
